Chengdu Green Gold Bio-Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Chengdu Green Gold”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chengdu Green Gold Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. owned by China Baoan Group Co., Ltd. The company was established in March 2000, with registered capital of 24.89 million yuan. The registered place and the production place are Sichuan Qionglai, the hometown of Zhuo Wenjun as well as the First City in the Southwest of Chengdu. The company is a high-tech enterprise for producing biological pesticides designated and approved nationally.

Chengdu Green Gold always takes the green and healthy concept, devotes to the research & development of biological pesticides and biological fertilizers, develops a whole industrial chain of the core industry (neem), presently forms a whole industrial chain of neem development system integrating neem planting, R&D, producing and selling, and takes the leading position in the industry. The company passed ISO9001 Quality Management Systems Certification, ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems Certification and OHSAS18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Certification; the company is introducing the lean production management system.

Chengdu Green Gold’s business and projects have been focused and supported by national and provincial governments as of its establishment. When the former prime minister of the State Council, Mr. Zhu Rongji visited the company and the development projects of neem industrialization, he gave a thumbs-up gesture and praised: “I’m the most supportive of this project”. In 2001, the company was awarded the High-Tech Enterprise, and from 2004 to 2009, the project “Neem industrialization development project” among the company’s applying projects was listed key high-tech achievement transformation projects handled by Sichuan Provincial Government among “No. 1 Projects” and also awarded “National Torch Program Projects” by the Ministry of Science and Technology; azadirachtin 0.3% emulsifiable concentrates was named “National Key New Products” by five ministries and commissions such as the Ministry of Science and Technology; in 2012, 1% azadirachtin WDG obtained the support from Innovation Fund Project of Sichuan Province; in 2013, the company was awarded “Innovative Enterprise in Sichuan Province”; in 2014, the company was awarded “High-Tech Enterprise”; in 2015, the project “Development of neem biological pesticides and technical research and demonstration of high efficient utilization of its resource” obtained the achievement identification of “International advanced technology” by Chinese Association of Agricultural Science Societies, and also won the Third Prize of China Agricultural Science and Technology Awards in the same year.

Presently, the company has 65 employees, where 7 are senior technicians, 11 are intermediate technicians, 5 are junior technicians, 25 excellent employees with average age of 32-year-old and 2 distinguished experts, being a professional agricultural service team with high academic qualifications, young age and strong sci-tech R&D capabilities.

Main products of Chengdu Green Gold are 10% azadirachtin extracts (higher content of 400% azadirachtin technical produced and supplied presently), azadirachtin 0.3% emulsifiable concentrates, avermectin 0.8% azadirachtin emulsifiable concentrate (vegetable oil solvent), neem oil, 40% prochloraz water emulsion, beta-cypermethrin 5% emamectin benzoate microemulsion, 1.8% avermectin (vegetable oil solvent), “Duolian” water-soluble foliar fertilizer containing amino-acids, microelement fertilizer, “Jinlian” organic fertilizer and bio-organic fertilizer, and the company is the first one to obtain neem technical registration of 10% azadirachtin extracts in China. The company is also the first company to obtain preparation registration of azadirachtin 0.3% emulsifiable concentrates in China, and azadirachtin solvent has been transformed technically which can be safely applied in the organic bases. Currently, vegetable oils are taken as solvents of the company’s neem pesticides, this technology ranks the leading position in the same industry, and most of the products passes the certifications of domestic and EU’s organic production input and are applied and promoted in the organic agricultural planting base in large area and highly affirmed by customers and government bodies.
